1. Introduction

Phasmotic, LLC ("Phasmotic Studio", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy covers this website and the studio updates list you can join from it. It is short because we collect very little.

2. What We Collect

The updates list asks for an email address, which is required, and a first name, which is optional and only used to greet you by it. We do not ask for a company, a phone number, or anything else.

Our hosting platform (Cloudflare) records standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for infrastructure security and operational performance. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this page.

When you submit the form, your information goes directly to Kit, the service that holds our updates list. Kit also records the technical details that come with that submission, such as your IP address and the time you signed up.

This page's typefaces are served from this site, not from a font network. Nothing about your visit is requested from a third-party host in order to render it.

Two settings are kept in your browser's own storage and are never sent anywhere: whether you have seen the intro sequence before, and whether you have asked for the site's motion effects to be paused. They hold no identifier and we cannot read them. The mini-game keeps your best score for the current visit only, in memory — it is not written to storage, not sent to us, and there is no scoreboard.

3. How We Use It

Your email address is used for one purpose: to tell you when Phasmotic Studio has something to announce. That means a reveal, a trailer, a playtest or a release, and it also means studio news and any project we take on next. It is one list rather than one per title, so you do not have to sign up again when the work moves on. Your first name, if you give it, is used only to address you by it in those emails. We do not sell any of it, rent it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

Submissions are processed by:

• Cloudflare: hosts this site, and forwards mail sent to our contact address.
• Kit: stores the updates list and delivers the email we send to it.

These providers process the data only to run the updates list and this page. Each handles it under its own terms and privacy policy, which govern what they may do with it.

5. Retention & Removal

We keep your address until you ask us to remove it, or until the updates list is retired. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately; you can also write to hello@phasmotic.com and we will delete the record. A person reads that address.

6. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the studio grows and the site becomes more than a placeholder. The current version always lives here.
